SIDC Past Year Questions: What Exists
Updated · 4 min read
Searches for "SIDC module 6 past year question" or "module 7 past year question pdf" are common. The plain answer: SIDC does not publish past papers for the SC Licensing Examinations, and its terms make the questions its confidential property.
What SIDC says
- The questions and answers are SIDC's "exclusive and confidential property"; candidates must not copy, record or disclose them (SCLE Terms and Conditions 2026, clause 8).
- Disclosing or soliciting exam content is a disciplinary offence; penalties include withheld results and a ban from all SC licensing exams (clause 11).
- Anything sold as "past year questions" is either recalled from candidates in breach of those terms or simply invented.
What SIDC does publish
- A study outline per module, ending with a handful of sample questions that show the styles used.
- A free computer-based exam mock-up on its portal to practise the screen. SIDC says its questions may not reflect current law.
- Paid eGuides, preparatory courses and, since 2024, an SCLE practice set (SIDC Annual Highlights 2024).

Takeaway
SIDC Prep is an independent study service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC), the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) or Bursa Malaysia. 'SIDC' is used only to describe the examinations. Figures are SIDC's and the SC's and can change; confirm on sidc.com.my.
