SIDC Exam Registration and Exam Day

You register for every SC Licensing Examination online, through an account on SIDC's website. Registration closes three working days before the exam (excluding weekends and public holidays), and seats go first come, first served (SCLE Terms and Conditions 2026, clauses 3.2 to 3.5).
Registering
- Sign up for an account on sidc.com.my; SIDC emails an invitation link to activate it.
- Pick the module, the date and the mode from the SC Licensing Examinations calendar.
- Pay online by FPX, debit or credit card, or selected e-wallets.
- Sponsored by your firm? A replacement candidate is not allowed, and a resignation notice must reach SIDC five working days before the exam (T&C 6).
Two ways to sit

On the day
- Bring your NRIC (Malaysians) or passport, rough paper, a pen or pencil and a non-programmable calculator.
- For the open-book Regulations modules (6, 9, 11, 16, 17, 19, 19A, 19B) bring your own printed prescribed reference materials. They must be unmarked, apart from highlights or underlines that record amendments, and you may not mark them during the exam.
- Online: webcam on throughout, face centred, nobody else in the room, no headphones, no eating or drinking, no reading questions aloud, no other applications.
- On screen, the time remaining shows at the upper left, and a Bookmark function marks questions to come back to (SIDC, A Guide on Preparing for the SC Licensing Examinations).
